Your Letter of Inquiry should address how your program will positively impact 3rd grade reading in Pickens County.  You will need to demonstrate measurable results and specify the population served.  Programs that involve parental engagement and make efforts to reach out to underrepresented and/or marginalized populations are encouraged.

Potential funded programs could include, but are not limited to:  after school programs, tutoring/mentoring, summer reading programs, PK-3rd grade literacy instruction, and family empowerment.

Upon review of your Letter of Inquiry, you may be asked to submit a full grant application.  Grants will be awarded in July 2024.  Minimum grant award is $5,000.  Maximum amount is $20,000.
